หลังจากประกาศแนวทางที่ชัดเจนของ Adobe Flash Platform แล้ว Adobe ก็เดินเครื่องเต็มที่ผลักดัน Platform ของตัวเองอย่างต่อเนื่อง มาในตอนนี้ก็ออกมาเป็น Beta รุ่นที่ 4 ของ Adobe AIR 3.2 for Desktop และ Adobe Flash Player 11.2 for Desktop แล้วครับ สามารถไป download มาลองได้จาก Adobe Labs เลย
ความเปลี่ยนแปลง และ Feature เด่นๆ ที่เพิ่มเข้ามามีดังนี้ครับ
- Drivers gating for hardware acceleration relaxed (new in beta 4)
- Throttling event (new in beta 4) — เพิ่ม ThrottleEvent เข้ามา ซึ่งเจ้า ThrottleEvent นี้จะถูก dispatch ออกมาจาก Stage
- Mouse lock, relative mouse coordinates, right and middle click events —
- Multi-threaded video decoding (Windows, Mac OS, and Linux)
- Flash Player background updates (Windows)
